FAQs

We know that “unpredictable” is commonly used for this portion but it’s really the only way to describe the fall in Cape Cod. We have had Octobers that are 70 & sunny; other Octobers are 30 and rainy. Please check your favorite weather app the week before to get an idea. The wedding ceremony and reception will both be outside (with a tent and heaters). Please be ready to bundle up with an extra layer!

While we love your kids, we are excited for this to be an adult-only wedding. Unless your little ones are called out on the invitation, we’d appreciate if you found childcare for the wedding.

The ceremony start will be 5:30pm to (hopefully) catch a Cape Cod sunset! We will have beverages available prior to the ceremony, starting at 4:30pm. Feel free to arrive between 4:30 – 5:30pm.

We plan to have a local bus pick up & drop off along Commercial Street (primary street in Provincetown) before the ceremony (pick up around 4pm) and after the ceremony (departures starting around 9 pm).

The reception is on the same grounds as the ceremony and no transportation is required.

There is a strict noise ordinance rule in Provincetown and the music needs to end at 10pm. We are working to find an “after-party” on Commercial Street to continue the celebration!

Please RSVP (on our website) by August 18th.

Yes! We want you to have your favorite dance partner there – please just RSVP accordingly!

When you RSVP, there is a section to put in any form of dietary restrictions (please be as specific as possible). While we wanted to have a New England Clambake, there will be non-fish and vegetarian options. We will also have the opportunity to separate lobster & clams if you have interest in one but not the other.

Since we’re by the sea, we are going for “coastal cocktail”, which includes cocktail dresses, jumpsuits, slacks, button up shirts, flip flops if that’s your vibe. We want everyone to be comfortable – so please prioritize that! Note that the weather could be unpredictable so also make sure to pack a layer for when the sun goes down.

The wedding will be outside on a lawn so please plan accordingly: flats, wedges.

We will have a photographer at the wedding and our hope is that everyone is there, present with us. We ask that you limit photography in lieu of enjoying yourselves!

Yes! We know getting to the Cape is difficult and we’re hoping to spend as much time with you as possible!

We live together already and have a home and stuff. We really don’t need anything and the biggest gift that you can give us is your presence on our wedding day. We will have a honeymoon fund (coming soon) that will help us charter a sailboat in the coming year.

We tried to cover all topics in the FAQs but if you still have questions, feel free to call or text: Sarah, 860-550-4850 or Will, 304-916-3557.
